Las Vegas based indie video game developer bZillions announces 2D platformer Little Hawk for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Slated for release in the Autumn of 2017, Little Hawk immerses players in a struggle to save their village and its denizens while rescuing the Chief's daughter, restoring magical totems and defeating the forces of evil.
"We wanted to recreate the excitement and personality of the games we love playing, like Mario and Rayman," says Steve Weiss, CEO of bZillions. "In addition to the great characters, lush settings and awesome audio, we've added a few little tricks of our own that we think the players will really enjoy."
Little Hawk's story involves a village that sits at the edge of a magical forest that's been ravaged by evil. The village's Chief is especially distraught because his only child, Princess Kyra, has been captured. The village's unlikely hero is a young man with a big heart, street smarts, and a lot of swagger. Playing as Little Hawk, gamers will use their instincts, reflexes, and resolve to overcome a number of challenges. As Little Hawk makes his way through each zone, Princess Kyra is trapped in the dungeons deep beneath a cursed castle. As players complete each zone as Little Hawk, they then play as Kyra and attempt to ascend from the bowels of the castle toward freedom.
