Bandai Namco is letting gamers know what they can expect from the upcoming video game Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet in terms of its multiplayer options.
The game includes eight-player competitive and four-player cooperative online multiplayer modes:
- Online Battle – As many as eight players are divided into Alpha and Bravo teams and compete to cause the most damage to a boss character that populate the map. Threats come from all angles as players manage their time damaging boss character while also denying the other team from scoring points.
- Online Cooperative Battle – Four players and their ArFA-sys support characters team up to take down the enemy boss. Players must make use of their unique skills and carefully consider their roles as they complete their objective.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is set within the popular story arc “Gun Gale Online”, a popular third-person shooter title in the world of Sword Art Online. Bandai Namco says this new setting provides Fatal Bullet with new shooter RPG gameplay, combining both third-person shooter and role-playing game genres.
The game will release in March of 2018 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
